Rob Zombie Can Do My Laundry Any Day...

While I was never a huge fan of the mid-90's noise-metal-horror band White Zombie, I've always had a ton of respect for Rob Zombie – the lead singer/songwriter/mastermind of the band – as interviews with Mister Zombie have always shown him to be an intelligent (perhaps hyper-intelligent) human being who really cares about his craft.

For much of this past decade, Mister Zombie has focused his creative efforts towards the world of movie and television production, and has made a successful second-career for himself writing and directing self-aware/purposefully campy horror films.  He's also taken on the whole Halloween movie franchise – directing remakes of both Halloween and Halloween II – and has even entered into the whole Jerry Bruckheimer production machinery, directing an episode of CSI Miami that aired back in March of 2010.

Recently, Rob Zombie has been testing the waters of commercial production work and – in my humble opinion – this is what the man was born to do.  Please, if you (the reader of this blog) are age ten or over, and not easily offended by scenes of natural fiber shirts being mutilated and tortured, then check out the amazing commercial for Woolite – yes, Woolite detergent – that Mister Zombie has directed.

Though the visual style might not be to everyone's liking, it's certainly an identifiable style and – damn – what an original take on delicate apparel care.  Mister Zombie, I salute you.

Keeping It Clean...

About two months ago or so I posted a quick lil' demonstration video up on YouTube that showed the proper care, cleaning, and maintenance of a Nasty Clamp.  In the the video, a floppy ol' Nasty was made all sparkly and new with the use of a basic glass cleaner.

If you haven't seen it before -- or if you've been wondering just how you might clean your Nasty Clamp, detach the flex-arm, and put the whole thing back together -- then this video is certainly worth watching.
